Hot Water Extraction (HWE) cleaning, also known as steam cleaning, is a method used to deep clean carpets and upholstery. This technique uses hot water and a cleaning solution injected into the carpet fibres under high pressure, followed by extraction with a powerful vacuum, removing dirt, allergens, and moisture.

Steps Involved:

  1. Preparation: Mix hot water with eco-friendly detergent.
  2. Injection: High-pressure injection of the solution into the carpet.
  3. Agitation: Stains are loosened with a pre-treatment chemical.
  4. Extraction: Up to 95% of moisture and grime are extracted.

Benefits:

  • Effective Cleaning: Penetrates deep into fibers, removing dirt and allergens.
  • Safe for All: Uses minimal detergents, safe for kids, pets, and the environment.
  • Restores Appearance: Refreshes carpet pile and extends its lifespan.

Alternatives:

  • Steam Cleaning: Uses steam to sanitize but may leave water stains and is less effective for deep cleaning.
  • Dry Cleaning: Uses cleaning powder, ideal for delicate fabrics but less effective at removing deep stains.

Why Avoid DIY?

Professional equipment has superior suction and drying capabilities, preventing mold growth and ensuring thorough cleaning.
